The problem we couldn't ignore
It started with a simple request: the Nigerian community in South Africa wanted to use our payment app — but couldn't. Onboarding required a Nigerian phone number and Nigerian bank details. The people who most needed to send money home were locked out by geography.
Meanwhile, sending money between African countries remains among the most expensive in the world — often 8–10%in fees and hidden spreads, taking days to arrive. That's rent. That's school fees. That's real money lost to friction.
What we're building
